Summary

One month after Tai Yu's last visit, she arrives at Yi Zhou Island, which has transformed significantly. The indigenous people now live in proper houses, wear clothing, and are learning to farm and weave with the Han army's assistance. Liu Mang has established laws, and those who disobey face severe consequences, earning the respect of the indigenous people. Tai Yu is accompanied by a maid, Bei Mi Hu, who seeks an audience with Liu Mang. They observe the new troops, composed of indigenous people, undergoing basic training to follow orders rather than combat skills. Guan Ping explains that joining the army is an honor in the Great Han, attracting many volunteers. Liu Mang receives a message about an alliance proposal from the Queen of the Yamatai nation but dismisses it, insisting that they must submit first.
