Summary

As December approached, the Huang He region was hit by a severe snowstorm, leaving the area desolate with few signs of life. Three Nü warriors cautiously rode through the snow when they were ambushed by a tall Han man, leading to a fierce battle. The Nü warriors fought valiantly, but they were outnumbered. One Nü warrior was overwhelmed and killed, while another managed to escape after shooting down a Han man. The remaining Nü scout was pursued by two Wu Dynasty officers, led by Fu Lu, who was searching for the Nü warrior's companions. Fu Lu, haunted by the deaths of his close ones, was determined to survive and seek revenge against Zong Han. He had been on a journey to assassinate Zong Wang but found himself unable to do so amidst the chaos of war and banditry.
