Chapter 600: The Death of Patroclus. [614]
Summary
Pei Zi Yun witnesses Hector carry Sa Er Pei Dong's corpse from the battlefield, while Pa Te Luo Ke Luo Si attempts to attack him with a spear. Pei Zi Yun avoids the attack and contemplates the implications of retrieving the corpse, which belongs to Zeus's son. As he successfully takes the body to the river for cleansing, the gods of sleep and death intervene, obscuring his vision and whisking the body away. Meanwhile, Hector and Patroclus engage in a fierce battle, with Patroclus ultimately being killed by Hector, despite his foreboding words about Hector's impending doom. The death of Patroclus shifts the battlefield's momentum, igniting Trojan cheers, while foreshadowing Achilles's wrath and the consequences of divine intervention in mortal affairs.Full content
