Summary

In September 2018, three high school students were found dead in a theater, with their deaths attributed to head deformation and respiratory paralysis. Gojo Satoru, unable to assist due to a mission, introduced Qi Hai Jian Ren, a former sorcerer, to Itadori Yuji. Qi Hai expressed his disdain for both sorcery and corporate work, emphasizing his lack of respect for Gojo. They prepared to investigate the crime scene, where Qi Hai noted Itadori's ability to see cursed energy residue, a skill learned from Fushiguro Megumi. As they followed the cursed energy, they encountered a bizarre creature, prompting Qi Hai to take charge and protect Itadori, who felt underestimated. Qi Hai demonstrated his technique, capable of creating weaknesses in opponents, while the White Tiger, a creature left by Feng Ling, intervened to defeat a monster attacking Itadori.
