Summary

In a tense encounter, Miao Yi, urged by Old Bai, confronts the massive Nether Mantis to retrieve its black eggs and a celestial herb. Despite initial fears, Miao Yi successfully collects the items, learning about the mysterious life cycle of the eggs. Old Bai, who declines Miao Yi's invitation to stay, departs, leaving Miao Yi envious of his carefree nature.
