Summary

Lu Piao feels betrayed as he is used as bait for a Jiao Yang, causing him to panic and flee. Meanwhile, Nie Li and Du Ze, armed with a crossbow, are hidden nearby. Despite Lu Piao's chaos, Nie Li remains focused and successfully shoots the Jiao Yang, using a potent poison that quickly incapacitates it. They gather valuable materials from the creature, earning a significant amount of demon spirit coins. Over the next week, they continue hunting Jiao Yangs at night, accumulating wealth and puzzling other students at the academy with the sudden decrease in Jiao Yangs. Exhausted after seven days, Lu Piao and Du Ze decide to rest while Nie Li plans their next steps, having already gathered over sixteen thousand demon spirit coins.
