Chapter 6: The Three Sacred Lands [5]

Summary

Li Hao's swordsmanship progressed from perfect to supreme with the "Endless Sea · Tides," leading him to recognize flaws in his previously mastered Tide Sword Technique. Despite his advancement, he had never executed the technique, realizing that a strong physique was essential to wield it effectively. He contemplated finding a body refining technique and planned to visit the Listening Rain Tower for martial arts manuals. As he underwent blood fusion with a high-quality elixir made from a great demon's bones, the process failed, causing disappointment for both him and Lin Hai Xia. The failed absorption meant that the elixir could be used for another, Bian Ru Xue, who subsequently showed great improvement in her martial arts talent. Li Hao faced challenges in finding opponents for chess due to his failed blood absorption, leading him to seek Lin Hai Xia's companionship. They often played chess together, with Li Hao teaching Lin Hai Xia the rules. Eventually, frustrated by Lin Hai Xia's disappearance, he decided to visit the Ting Yu Tower, despite warnings from the steward Zhao Bo about the restrictions on entry. The tower, linked to the family's martial heritage, held the "Sea of No End," a technique of great difficulty.
