Summary

In the southwestern region of Chen Guo, He Jin experiences a sudden weather change, with thunder and heavy rain startling children and raising the Chi Shui River's water level. Su Bai, traveling in a carriage with Yan Cai Wei, a princess from Yan Guo, is caught in the storm. As they seek shelter, they are pursued by black-clad assassins. Despite Su Bai's attempts to protect Xiao Li Yu, the situation escalates, leading to a violent confrontation. The assassins demand the princess's surrender, revealing her identity and the danger they face, as blood is shed amidst the chaos of the storm.
