About Me Being Adopted by Talula (Complete).

Chapter 6: The Spirit of Melody and the Path of Source Stone. [5]

Summary

In the fifth fish exchange, Orson's instincts kicked in as he conversed with Talula, who revealed she was using a block of ice as bait. After some playful banter and properly educating her on fishing techniques, Talula caught her first fish, sparking a hidden smile that she quickly concealed. They then visited a grave site, where Orson reflected on the villagers who had been infected but admitted he had no sorrow for them. Talula revealed her earlier intention to return to the village but mentioned that her companion Frost Nova had dissuaded her, leading Orson to question if she had another personality or was possessed. Talula reacted unexpectedly to his probing question, admitting she might have awakened her own unique powers known as Originium arts, which intrigued Orson, who was new to the concept. As Talula explained the nature and function of Originium arts, Orson realized he might possess this ability due to his past experiences. She also offered to help him understand and master his newfound powers. After a bit of playful banter, Talula gave Orson a sword, explaining it could be used like a wand for his Originium arts. Orson struggled to comprehend how to activate his powers until he finally visualized a black musical score linked to his abilities. When he attempted to manipulate objects with this score, he experienced an overwhelming sensation and fainted, collapsing onto Talula’s lap. Upon regaining consciousness, Talula expressed her gratitude towards Orson for his effort in using his abilities, but Orson felt a deeper connection to her. He then described seeing a white score that represented what seemed to be his soul, connected to the idea of tuning souls. This realization led him to believe he could potentially awaken someone named Alina, indicating a significant development in his abilities and his connection to Talula.
