Summary

In this chapter, Ruan Xiu, a beautiful Maide and the daughter of a renowned swordsmith, is caught sneaking away to buy pastries. She encounters Yang Si Mu, who recognizes her as the Fire God. Despite her divine status, Ruan Xiu is currently just a girl who enjoys pastries. Yang Si Mu, who is intrigued by her, mistakenly thinks she might want to fight him. Instead, he asks to buy a red bangle she wears, which makes her wary of him. As they converse, Ruan Xiu's father, Ruan Qiong, appears, suspecting her of sneaking off. To deflect his father's attention, Ruan Xiu cleverly blames Yang Si Mu for treating her to pastries. Although Yang Si Mu tries to defend himself, he feels intimidated by Ruan Qiong's imposing presence. Ultimately, Ruan Xiu agrees to return with her father but surprises Yang Si Mu by gifting him the red bangle before running off, leaving Ruan Qiong frustrated.
