Summary

Ye Cheng, Lin Yu, and Tang Qiu Yan, after assassinating a Japanese officer, find themselves pursued in Shanghai's slums. They receive help from a patriotic old man but must flee to the French Concession for safety. There, they face new challenges, including finding medicine for their deteriorating health. After Tang Qiu Yan is captured, they launch a daring rescue, aided by the party organization. Following their success, they form an anti-Japanese group, conducting sabotage and assassinations.
