Summary

Mo Wuji was about to leave the guild when a middle-aged man, Lu Jiu Jun, called out to him. Lu Jiu Jun, the owner of Dan Han Lian Yao, invited Mo Wuji to the tea room to discuss a proposal. Lu Jiu Jun offered Mo Wuji the position of chief medicine master at Dan Han Lian Yao, despite Mo Wuji's boastful claim earlier. Mo Wuji was surprised but remained calm, asking about his compensation. Lu Jiu Jun offered 50 gold coins a month, accommodation, and other benefits. However, Mo Wuji seemed unimpressed and instead asked about the cost of opening a spirit. Lu Jiu Jun explained the three methods of awakening a spirit, including using spirit herbs, seeking help from a strong person, and using a spirit awakening array. The costs ranged from over 10,000 gold coins to millions, or even priceless.
