Summary

Cheng Dalei, hiding on a rooftop, is discovered by Yan Bu Gui and Bai Wu Shuang, who attack him. Realizing he is outmatched, Cheng Dalei attempts to escape the royal palace of the Rong tribe. Despite his speed, Bai Wu Shuang blocks his path, forcing Cheng Dalei to fight back with a desperate strike. He manages to evade capture and flees into the night. Meanwhile, Hu Yan Li, newly married and disturbed by the chaos, learns from Bai Wu Shuang that the intruder was Cheng Dalei, a notorious criminal. Bai Wu Shuang suggests an alliance with the Northern Barbarians to eliminate the Fire Tribe and unify the grasslands, eventually leading to an attack on the empire. Hu Yan Li questions the practicality of such plans, leaving Bai Wu Shuang feeling disheartened about his ruler's lack of ambition.
