Summary

Hua Yi Nan Zi killed Zong Yuan with a single sword strike, causing the surrounding attackers to flee in terror. He then landed on the pavilion beside Niu You Dao, who was relieved that Hua Yi Nan Zi had won the duel. Niu You Dao ordered his masked men to aid the Liu Xian Sect, Floating Cloud Sect, and Ling Xiu Mountain. The strong enemies retreated, and Niu You Dao withdrew his defensive forces. Ga Miao Shui, riding a bird, fled after seeing Zong Yuan's corpse. Niu You Dao ordered his men to capture Ga Miao Shui, but he escaped. The battle subsided, and the troops began clearing the battlefield. Niu You Dao welcomed the returning headmasters, who were covered in blood and injured. He revealed that the court had conspired against them from within and without, but didn't elaborate. The headmasters were puzzled, and Niu You Dao deflected their questions.
