Summary

In a desolate inn, a crimson-robed cultist is interrupted during a suicide ritual meant to summon the Gray Realm by a calm beggar girl, Liu Qing Yan. Despite his weakening state, he realizes she possesses extraordinary power. Liu Qing Yan, observing his faith, decides to intervene, ultimately killing him and preventing the ritual's success. Meanwhile, chaos unfolds as other cultists complete their rituals, causing gray smoke to rise across the city, signaling impending disaster. Wang Jin Cheng, aware of the catastrophic consequences, orders the ringing of the disaster bell as the Gray Realm's influence spreads.
