Summary

General Cheng Yaojin unexpectedly remains calm after his outrageous story is laughed at by his soldiers, particularly by scout lieutenant Li Zhou. Li Zhou informs Cheng that the Great Leader has urgent tasks for him, prompting Cheng to return to Wagang Mountain with a convoy of grain carts. Upon arrival, he suggests a gambling night to the general on duty, Yang Gongqing, leading to a night of revelry among the officers. Meanwhile, Li Zhou and his men stealthily infiltrate the granary to execute a plan, moving fodder and preparing to set it ablaze. As the fire engulfs the granaries, chaos ensues, and the officers rush to respond. Amidst the panic, Cheng confronts a guard, Wang Yi, who is revealed to be a spy. With Wang Yi's escape, Cheng and Yang devise a plan to shift blame away from themselves, ensuring their positions remain secure despite the disaster.
