Summary

In a time of turmoil, Old Ancestors Zheng Yang and Xi Yang lament the unresolvable karmic bonds plaguing their lineage. Zhang Bai Ren, detached from the Pure Yang Daoist Temple, uses the Execution Sword to sever these ties, foreseeing a curse on future generations. Meanwhile, Yang Guang of the Great Sui faces ominous signs following the Grand Canal's completion, leading to disastrous events and a foreboding prophecy of the dynasty's fall. As chaos ensues, Zhang Bai Ren is summoned to the court, where he confronts the reality of the situation and the futility of reversing fate, leaving Yang Guang in despair over his misjudgments and the impending doom of his reign.
