Summary

In the Southern Courtyard of the Shaman Clan, Mao Nan Feng sets up a formation using blood as ink, while Li Zi Ye, terrified, stands in the center. Mao Nan Feng assures him of success, but Li Zi Ye doubts his intentions, feeling like a guinea pig. As the formation activates, overwhelming spiritual energy floods into Li Zi Ye, causing him immense pain. Mao Nan Feng uses the Soul Capturing Bell to control poisonous insects that crawl over Li Zi Ye, intensifying his suffering. Outside, spies and two women react to the commotion, realizing the danger Li Zi Ye is in, as Mao Nan Feng's experiments have a history of fatal outcomes.
