Summary

In Chapter 59, titled "Temptation," chaos ensues in a warehouse where guards from the Eternal Flame Church discover that two of their members, Els and Kant, have been killed and their clothes stolen. The guards, facing a potential supernatural threat, are ordered by their captain, Ke Lei Si, to investigate. Meanwhile, players Tom Paige and Wo Sun Zi Ri Xiong realize another player has infiltrated the area, likely seeking the valuable Herbal Brew. Li Nuo, a player with his own agenda, initially plans to kill a guard to gain access to the underground laboratory but finds the door locked. Instead, he hides and observes, using Emil's mask to gather data on the players and identify their weaknesses. He discovers records indicating the Church is experimenting on prisoners to create demon hunters. As tensions rise, Li Nuo decides to execute a risky plan to steal a key from a guard, allowing him to access a secured area. He enters to find three guards dead and the two players armed with crossbows, setting the stage for a confrontation.
