Summary

Han Sheng awakens in a cave, comforted by the presence of a bat leader and its family. After bidding them farewell, he returns to find his home empty and a note from his father about a political review. Concerned, Han Sheng and Wu Chu Shan Ren rush to Nan Shan Town. They find their dog, Ben Ben, who leads them to a wealthy family's residence where Lan Er and her mother are locked up. Wu Chu Shan Ren rescues them, and they learn of Meng Hong Bing's sudden injury. Han Sheng decides to go to the county city alone to find his father, leaving Wu Chu Shan Ren worried about the unfolding events.
