Summary

In the Celestial Silkworm Cave, Han Sheng wakes up to find the Bat Leader and its family alive. After comforting them, he discovers the bat clan has suffered losses and must leave for the valley. Returning home, he finds his father's note stating he has gone to town with Director Meng, raising suspicions. Han Sheng and Wu Chu Shan Ren head to town, accompanied by Ben Ben, the monster dog. They discover Lan Er and her mother locked up. After rescuing them, they learn of Meng Hong Bing's injury and the ominous circumstances surrounding it. Han Sheng plans to go to the county town to find his father, while Shan Ren feels uneasy about the situation.
