Summary

Chen Wei, traveling through an ancient city, exchanges money and explores an inn called "No Inn". During a performance of "Journey to the West", he encounters young beggars and generously gives them gold, criticizing wealthy nobles who mistreat them. Later that night, black-clad assassins attempt to kill him using mesmerizing incense, but Chen Wei, already suspicious and prepared, easily thwarts their attack. He transforms a table into wooden thorns, immobilizing the intruders and questioning their motives, revealing his expertise and confidence in handling such threats.
