Summary

Li Hao, while conversing with a waiter in Youzhou, learns about Major General Haotian's heroic deeds during a recent monster attack in Liangzhou. The waiter shares that Liangzhou is now peaceful, with strict security measures in place. Li Hao, feeling relieved, decides to explore the town with Xi Yan, who is curious about Haotian's title. As they enjoy the local festivities, Li Hao discreetly eliminates a group of demons lurking nearby using sunflower seed shells. The next morning, news of the demon corpses spreads panic in the town. Li Hao then plans to visit Liyang City, which is under threat from monsters. Meanwhile, in Liyang City, military leaders discuss their dire situation and consider using Haotian's battle flag to intimidate the monsters. A middle-aged figure from the Valley of Gluttony taunts the city's defenders, but as he retreats, he encounters Li Hao on horseback. Upon making eye contact, the middle-aged figure is suddenly killed by an overwhelming aura emanating from Li Hao.
