Chapter 59: Escape. [59]
Summary
The two brothers obtained the Gui Bu Gui recipe and dispatched men to nearby pharmacies for herbs. As they descended the mountain, they encountered the Ren Can Wa Wa, a little ginseng child, who was bound and began hurling insults at them. A humorous exchange ensued between him and Gui Bu Gui, leading to Gui Bu Gui's eventual defeat in their verbal sparring. After Gui Bu Gui left, the child’s antics continued, culminating in his escape by drilling into the ceiling. When the brothers informed Gui Bu Gui, he expressed dismay at their failure to keep the child tied up. Moments later, while preparing to leave, Gui Bu Gui was tripped by the ginseng child’s hands, leading to a comical mishap as wild grass ensnared his feet.Full content
