Chapter 588: Paris's Scheme. [602]
Summary
Odysseus, troubled by the ongoing conflict between Agamemnon and Achilles, seeks counsel from the seer Calchas, despite his dislike for him. Calchas warns that even if Paris were killed, the war would continue. Meanwhile, Pei Zi Yun sets sail from Troy's secret harbor, confident in his strategy to lure the Greeks into a trap. He believes that weakening the Greeks aligns with Zeus's will, as Achilles's presence disrupts the balance of power. As Pei Zi Yun's warship flees from pursuing Greek forces, they discover a cache of gold on his abandoned ship, but the divine weapon is missing, indicating Paris's escape.Full content
