Summary

An Zheng, witnessing Lu Cheng Zhi's humility, accepts leadership among a group aiming to combat evil. Xun Zhi Wen, the City Lord, acknowledges An Zheng's strength and allows him to lead, despite previous injuries caused. An Zheng humorously inquires about the leader's salary, then appoints deputy leaders from the group. As they journey northwest, they encounter a flooded land filled with corpses, igniting their anger and resolve to eliminate the beasts responsible. A creature emerges from the water, mocking them and revealing its connection to the City Lord. Mutton Chops vows revenge, realizing the City Lord's deception.
