Summary

Every creature involved in the siege against Xu Liao believed he was fighting alone, but Xu Liao had mobilized thousands of demon soldiers, forming a vast array that absorbed any demon caught within it. The eight demon kings, despite their repeated attacks, were unable to defeat him, leading to growing urgency among them. Feng Xie Ya, who had arrived at the battlefield but was blocked by the formation, hesitated to join the fight or defect to Xu Liao's side. After hours of battle, Xu Liao's forces had diminished the demon kings' troops significantly. He activated the vast formation, which began to dissolve the remaining demons. As he prepared to strike the final blow, a royal procession arrived, led by the beloved consort of the Dragon King of the South Sea, who commanded the Golden Gourd Guards to annihilate the remaining demon kings. Xu Liao, intrigued by the consort, learned from Feng Xie Ya that she was the reason for her downfall, having stripped her of her powers.
