Summary

Chu Feng and his companions arrive at a valley in the Wolf Fang Mountain Range, where the Ma family, significantly stronger than the Li family, has gathered. The head of the Ma family, Ma Yu Kun, and the head of the Li family greet each other warmly, despite their families' rivalry. Chu Feng senses a spiritual nexus in the valley but finds it concealed by a powerful barrier. The two family heads decide that a spirit master from each family will compete to unlock the place. Elder Yue from the Li family is chosen to compete against Mr. Gu from the Ma family. Elder Yue showcases an impressive blue barrier technique, but Mr. Gu reveals himself to be a purple-robed spirit master, shocking the Li family, as this indicates a significant power disparity, leading them to realize they are likely to lose the competition.
