Summary

Ye Qian experiences a deep emotional turmoil upon learning of his father's critical health condition, leading him to rush back to SH City. Despite his confidence in the security surrounding his father, the gravity of the situation overwhelms him, causing tears to flow. Arriving at the airport, he meets Qingfeng, who notices his distress but refrains from questioning him. They head to the hospital, where Ye Qian learns his father's condition had stabilized after emergency surgery, but the doctor warns he may have only a month left to live. Overwhelmed with fear and sadness, Ye Qian steels himself to face his father, only to discover him in surprisingly good spirits, playing with his granddaughter, which brings a smile to Ye Qian’s face, alleviating some of his anxiety.
