Summary

Bai Xiao Chun approaches a luxurious seven-story tower belonging to the Bai family, where a middle-aged woman named Madam Cai watches him from the fifth floor with resentment. She is accompanied by a man in black who expresses disbelief that Bai Hao, whom he thought was dead, is alive. Madam Cai insists on killing Bai Xiao Chun, whom she perceives as a monster, despite the risks involved in the Bai family territory. Unbeknownst to them, Bai Xiao Chun senses their malevolent intent as he walks through the less affluent northern district of Bai Family City, where he is warmly received by the residents who are fond of Bai Hao. He arrives at Bai Hao's dilapidated house, finding it surprisingly meager for a cultivator of his level. Reflecting on Bai Hao's situation, Bai Xiao Chun becomes curious about the threats against him. As he investigates the surroundings, he detects residual magical fluctuations on the ground, indicating recent spell activity. Utilizing his enhanced spiritual sense, he opens his Tong Tian Eye to examine the area more closely and begins to restore some erased characters from the ground, leading him to a startling discovery that leaves him shocked.
