Summary

In a dilapidated house, villagers accuse a terrified girl of being a man-eating demon, demanding her death. San Cang, a compassionate monk, defends her, suggesting a test to reveal her true nature. Just as he begins, soldiers from the Great Shang arrive, revealing the girl is actually a Jun Zhu, shocking everyone. The general, recognizing her, is furious at the villagers but ultimately respects her wish to spare them. The villagers flee, confused by the events. San Cang agrees to accompany the general and the Jun Zhu back to the manor, postponing his task of subduing the demon. Meanwhile, a dead girl lies nearby, hinting at darker truths.
