Summary

The Chieftain's court of the Xiongnu is located in Earth Dragon City, a significant political and religious center in Inner Mongolia. Every May, leaders gather for ancestor worship and offerings. The Xiongnu, sharing dragon totem worship with the Han, began settling elderly nobles in the city due to Han influence. Jun Chen, the Chieftain, discusses the Moon Clan's movements with elders, while strategizing against the Da Wan people, who resist Xiongnu entry. Despite strong defenses, the Xiongnu plan to exploit their cavalry's speed. Tensions rise as Han troops attack Xiongnu herders, threatening the fragile peace.
