Summary

Xu Lu was thrilled to hear about Zhan Zu's whereabouts, believing it would help him evade his brother Xu Fu and Master Fang. Despite his excitement, he was cautious of Gui Bu Gui, whom Xu Fu had imprisoned out of fear. Xu Lu initially intended to eliminate Gui Bu Gui but reconsidered due to past losses. As he confronted Gui Bu Gui, he sought to trade lives and provoke a fight, but Gui Bu Gui revealed surprising connections of his companions to powerful figures. Xu Lu realized he might have underestimated his opponents, especially with the mention of Xi Ying Zhen, making him hesitant to act recklessly against them.
