Summary

Xue Bing wakes up in an unfamiliar hotel room, confused and alarmed by her disheveled state. She recalls her father's blind date arrangement but remembers little else from the previous night. Yang Ling, who shares the room, reveals she was drugged and he prevented something worse from happening. Despite her initial anger and embarrassment, she begins to see him in a new light, especially after he provides her with new clothes and a lead on a fugitive case. Their dynamic shifts as they engage in banter, revealing layers of their personalities. Ultimately, Xue Bing, feeling grateful and flustered, asks Yang Ling for a ride home, marking a change in their relationship.
