Summary

Nagayama Yuuzuru leaves Hei Yu Ning Zi's residence late at night, reflecting on the day's events and the need for more vehicles for the shrine. He boards a night bus with a hunchbacked old man, whom he identifies as a Level Four Weasel Demon named Kitano Itachi. The old man reveals he has cultivated merit for 400 years and is nearing completion. During their conversation, a young junkie boards the bus and attempts to rob them, but Kitano Itachi subdues him without violence, demonstrating his belief in doing good deeds. After the encounter, Kitano Itachi goes out into the city, performing more good deeds but facing ingratitude from those he helps. As he nears the completion of his merit, he accidentally collides with a woman who manipulates him into a dangerous situation with a debt collector. In a moment of rage, Kitano Itachi is about to unleash his demonic side when Nagayama Yuuzuru intervenes, using his powers to subdue both the collector and the woman, preventing Kitano Itachi from losing his cultivation. Grateful for the intervention, Kitano Itachi acknowledges his debt to Yuuzuru.
