Summary

Yan Lin, feeling the spiritual energy within him, sought refuge in a hidden cave behind a waterfall after a fierce battle. Inside, he discovered a long-abandoned dwelling and began cultivating soul power to regain strength. After three days, he ventured out, following a blood trail to a massive tree hollow guarded by Moon-devouring Demon Wolves. He spotted a valuable egg in the hollow and, to distract the wolves, set the tree ablaze. As the wolves fled, Yan Lin seized the egg and escaped, realizing its significance as a future wolf king. He learned from Lord Mu Di that nurturing the egg would ensure it recognized him as its master upon hatching.
