Chapter 566: The New Allies of the Great Han, Together to Jiaozhou. [564]

Summary

The chapter summarizes the fate of Yu Jin, one of the Five Great Generals, after the battle at Jiangling. Yu Jin was captured alive, but Liu Mang initially forgot about him. It wasn't until later, when Liu Mang took Xiangyang and Deng Ai captured Xinye, that Yu Jin was remembered. Guan Yu visited Yu Jin, who then decided to surrender. Liu Mang saw an opportunity to utilize Yu Jin and Man Chong's military expertise in Jiaozhou, as there were fewer leaders there. However, Liu Mang was more concerned about the outbreak of smallpox in Xinye and decided to go there himself to help treat the soldiers and civilians, despite the risk of infection.
