Summary

Xing Jue observes a man and woman in a tavern, noting the woman's beginner-level Shura warrior status and the man's more seasoned presence. The man, Zhang Hang, unexpectedly approaches Xing Jue to apologize for his sister's earlier mischief, surprising both Xing Jue and Zhang Meng. Despite Zhang Meng's reluctance, Zhang Hang insists she apologize. They bond over plans to join the Wu Ji Academy, a powerful institution in the Ming Country. As they converse, Xing Jue learns about the Academy's influence and the vastness of the Ming Country. After a satisfying meal, Xing Jue pays with a mid-grade spiritual weapon, drawing attention and mockery from Zhang Meng.
