Summary

Yi Fan enters the courtyard of the fierce beast Qiong Qi, who is sleeping. To wake it, Yi Fan considers using his sword but is interrupted when Qiong Qi speaks, suggesting food as a better method. Yi Fan explains his need for help, and Qiong Qi demands compensation in the form of high-quality magical artifacts. After a reluctant negotiation, Yi Fan offers what he has, which Qiong Qi accepts but insists on a favor in return. Yi Fan then seeks the master of the Demon Sword Valley to request two experts for assistance. The master agrees and offers to help, but is surprised when Yi Fan specifies the Scholar with the Bone Fan and Song Ren Long as his choices.
