Summary

The story follows Xiao Fan, who, after hearing a commotion at his military camp's entrance, discovers a crowd of villagers, particularly elders, warning him against entering the jungle. They believe that the disappearance of his men is due to angering the mythical God of the Jungle, the Cong Lin Zhi Shen. Despite their fears and threats, Xiao Fan is determined to rescue his missing men and begins clearing a path into the jungle. The villagers, angered by his actions, confront him, insisting he must not disturb the jungle or face dire consequences. Tensions rise as Xiao Fan remains resolute in his mission, leading to a standoff with the villagers.
