Summary

Yuan, after three days of mourning, kneels before the White Tiger's corpse, vowing to avenge its death if he cannot save little Qi. Amidst relentless rain, he digs a grave, placing the White Tiger's body and a small pearl, a relic of its lineage, inside. He carves a tombstone inscribed "Grave of Beloved Little White." Later, he searches Xiao Qi's diary, discovering her secretive encounters with a mysterious man, which culminated in her decision to join him on a journey. Yuan's somber reflections reveal his deep connection to the White Tiger and concern for Xiao Qi's choices.
