Summary

In a dramatic encounter, Miao Yi witnesses a woman in red trapped by a Grade 1 Immobilization Talisman, revealing the extravagant use of demon cores for talismans. The Lady Boss, a mysterious cultivator, mocks Miao Yi while revealing the talisman's temporary nature. Miao Yi, angered, attacks the ghost woman, killing her and obtaining her yin core. The Lady Boss offers him a Pearl of Willpower, which gathers the wishes of ten thousand people, but only if he admits his earlier blindness. After some reluctance, Miao Yi accepts, eager to enhance his cultivation.
