Summary

Xiahou Mao taunts Ye Xuan, believing he is on the verge of death, but Ye Xuan counters with sharp wit, revealing Xiahou Mao's past and the danger they face. As the Blood Swarm Ants, a Level 2 demon beast, emerge, Xiahou Mao realizes they've been tricked. Despite their superior strength, the group struggles against the overwhelming swarm. They form the Inverted Beidou Formation for defense, but Ye Xuan remains calm, protected by his Nascent Soul allies. He reveals that a special powder allows the ants to recognize him as one of their own, leaving Xiahou Mao and his companions in despair as they fight for their lives against the relentless ants.
