Summary

In the Floating Clouds Sect's interrogation chamber, Lu Chen and Xue Tang Zhu observe the brutal interrogation of Fan Tui, a captured demon cultist. The atmosphere is tense and oppressive, filled with the smell of blood and the sounds of pain. After Fan Tui's torture, it becomes evident that he has revealed all he knows, leading to an awkward silence among the group. Xue Tang Zhu suggests detaining Fan Tui for further investigation into the demon cult and the missing Ghost Elder, which Lu Chen agrees to. Before leaving, Lu Chen brings up a question from his master regarding the capture of Ghost Elder, causing tension among the Floating Clouds Sect members. Xue Tang Zhu reassures him that the elder is informed. After she departs, Old Ma warns Lu Chen about the seriousness of the situation, leading to a cryptic exchange about Xue Tang Zhu's sudden change in addressing Lu Chen. They decide to leave the dark and foreboding chamber.
