Summary

Bai Ze and his companions discover a tomb filled with corpses, all victims of a deadly mechanism triggered by Huo Xian Gu's actions. The air is thick with caustic soda, which likely caused their demise. Bai Ze finds Xiao Guan barely alive, having resorted to bleeding himself to avoid inhaling the toxic fumes. After rescuing Xiao Guan, they face the grim task of dealing with the bodies, particularly Huo Xian Gu's, whose death will cause chaos for the Nine Gates. Wu Xie decides to take Huo Xian Gu's head as proof for the outside world. With their gear gathered, the group must now figure out how to escape the perilous tomb.
