Summary

In the story, a group of four adventurers embarks on a journey to a place called Not Falling Cliff, which is not a steep drop but a series of suspended coffin sites in a dense forest. They encounter a series of illusions that confuse and trap them. The illusions range from simple tricks to more complex ones that affect all senses. After realizing they are ensnared in an illusion, they use talismans to try to escape but find themselves in a damp cave. They suspect it might be another illusion due to its realism. Eventually, one member uses a powerful pill to break free, leading them to the cliff with hanging coffins, where they meet an elderly man, Old Meng, who seems to be aware of them yet acts indifferent.
