Summary

Philoctetes, abandoned on a desolate island, refuses to help the Greeks against Cycnus despite Ka Er Ka Si's pleas. Odysseus, having stolen Philoctetes' divine bow, finds he cannot wield it, realizing only Philoctetes can. After a divine intervention from Hercules, Philoctetes agrees to aid the Greeks, leading to his return to Troy. There, Agamemnon welcomes him warmly, offering gifts and healing. Philoctetes reconciles with his past and prepares to use his powerful bow against their enemy, Cycnus, restoring his status as a hero among the Greeks.
