Summary

Shi Mu is engulfed in a bloodlust during a brutal battle, slashing through enemies with his long knife and reveling in the chaos. As he kills, he becomes increasingly detached from his identity as a cultivator, ultimately holding the head of an enemy leader. Despite pleas for mercy from the black-armored soldiers, he is consumed by a desire to kill. A moment of clarity strikes when a golden stick in his consciousness emits a light, momentarily breaking the bloodlust. However, the stench of blood reignites his violent urges, leading to the manifestation of a powerful red ape. Shi Mu unleashes a torrent of beasts to fend off the attacking soldiers, clearing a path toward a bearded man who seems unfazed by the carnage. As Shi Mu approaches, he is ensnared by a blood marsh that pulls him down, and shadowy figures emerge to drag him deeper. A whisper tempts him to indulge in slaughter, causing him to lose control once more, sinking into the depths of the marsh.
