Summary

Zhang Tian Yi reveals that he lost his memory at six and feels he doesn't belong to Aoi Prefecture, believing a jade pendant may help him uncover his origins. Chu Feng empathizes with Zhang Tian Yi's hardships and promises to help. As they return to the inn, they discover it has been attacked, with Jiang Wu Shang injured by members of the Shen Tu royal family, particularly Shen Tu Lang, who belittles Jiang's lineage. Despite Jiang's anger, he is urged by Su Rou to hold back. The inn's owner, intimidated by the royal family, is brutally killed by Shen Tu Lang, who then orders the slaughter of those around him.
