Summary

Li Yan Qing is eager to leave a feast after receiving a promise from Prefect Li Kui, but his uncle Li Wen You stops him, insisting that his father wants him to stay. During the meal, Li Dong Dong expresses gratitude to the neighbors and Clan Chief for caring for his father. A poor man, Zhang Ping, Li Dong Dong’s son-in-law, tries to toast Li Yan Qing and suggests that his daughter serve as a maid for Li Yan Qing, which angers Li Dong Dong’s father.
